i left my heart in…

August 14, 2009

sometimes you just don’t want to give a gift off the registry or you are completely dumbfounded about what to get your best friend for his/her birthday. you search for and seek that perfect present: from the heart, economically feasible, and above all else incredibly thoughtful. not the easiest task and coming up empty handed happens to the best of us! in that moment of despair, we fell in love with ork posters. they are the perfect, cute, quirky gift for the soon to be married couple who met in (insert city here) or your best friend who lives in LA but left her heart in (insert city here). they have a variety of major cities to choose from and are available as posters or screen prints for your particularly artsy couple friends! ork posters are incredibly creative, modern, clean and fun!  we here at {smitten} have a particular soft spot for ork‘s latest creation – an expansion from the city motif to the heart!

we’ve been pulling for them to finish the philly poster for someone near and dear to our hearts. if you’re a particular philly fan, drop them a line here and become part of the campaign!

happy weekend!

you must share a brain with my best friend! she gave us an ork print of boston (the city where we met) and LA (the city where we live) for our wedding. it was so incredibly thoughtful and lovely all at once. a great great idea.
